Hunter Logan's Mondrian Tribute Page
An Experiment in CSS
lived 1872 to 1944
In this page, I use CSS to duplicate a grid structure based on abstract paintings by the famous Dutch Modernist, Piet Mondrian. Colors change on hover to produce a light-up effect and reveal tidbits of information about Piet Mondrian.
The page format and behavior relies totally on the style sheet. When CSS is shut off, the page is reduced to a series of text blurbs.
